Support and Health

How much training will I need?

Needs ongoing support

Can I be left alone?

Potentially, once settled

Buddy has been left in his previous home, for up to 6 hours, however this will need building up over a period of time once he has settled into his new home, if this is going to be the case again. Ideally, as he loves his people so much, he would likely prefer a home where he was on his own for a couple of hours.

Do I have any medical conditions?

None

This pet has a clean bill of health and can be fully insured after rehoming.

Who I can live with

Can I live with dogs?

No

Can I live with cats?

No

Can I live with small pets?

Yes, conditionally - Buddy could potentially live with securely housed small pets

Additional information

Buddy is looking for a new home where he will be the only dog in the home, as he is more interested in being with his human family, than playing with other dogs. He is fine to walk on lead with other dogs.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Buddy is a sensitive chap and so would prefer to live in a new home , with children over 11 years old, where he can feel safe and secure.

What type of environment would suit me?

Buddy will need a home with a garden where he can run free, have lots of games and  to help with his ongoing training.

He will need a 6ft fence as he can jump very high  and has been known to climb on things.

About Buddy

This handsome brindle boy is as charming as they come. Buddy absolutely adores his humans and is happiest when he’s soaking up attention or joining in on the fun. Whether it’s a lively game of tug-of-war or a goofy chase after his favourite toy, he’s always ready to bring a smile to your face.

Buddy can be a little unsure around loud noises, so he’s looking for a kind, patient home where he can feel safe and build his confidence at his own pace. In return, you’ll get a loyal, affectionate companion who just wants to be by your side.

If you’re looking for a sweet, playful pup to share your days (and your sofa!), Buddy might just be your perfect match!

Staffies might be small but they’ve got big hearts. If you like affectionate dogs, they could be the breed for you! Learn more about the breed at Ask Woodgreen.
