Chewbacca has historic/current medical concerns, namely flea allergic dermatitis, heart murmur, dental disease that will require consideration before he is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome this pet and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical concern, be that historic or ongoing, is discussed with your own vet prior to any book out appointment.

Chewbacca may be ok to live with another cat with enough space and resources. He could potentially live with a calm, quiet dog with careful introductions. Small pets will need to be securely housed

What kind of family am I looking for?
Chewbacca is a shy boy who needs time to settle into a new environment and so he is looking for a family with calm older children who will give him time and space to settle
What type of environment would suit me?
Chewbacca is looking for a calm environment. He will need a quiet room with lots of hiding places to settle into. Chewbacca will need outside access once settled in the home. He has not had much experience of the outdoors and so is looking for a private garden with places he can hide. It would be best for him to have free access back to the house via a cat flap or easily accessible window or to a safe space in the garden in case he gets spooked whilst outdoors.
About Chewbacca
Chewbacca is a sweet boy who starts out a bit shy and prefers to keep to himself while he figures things out. He often settles into quiet corners or tucks himself into a cardboard box, which seems to be his favourite place to watch the world. With a little time and patience, he begins to relax and show more of who he is. His gentle affection comes through in soft nudges and steady purrs, and he enjoys simple play once he feels safe. He’s a calm, steady companion who opens up at his own pace and brings a warm presence to any home.
