Could you star in The Dog House?
If you're looking for a match, filming for the next series starts this Spring.
This pet has historic medical concerns, namely conjunctivitis (now resolved), that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome this pet and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical concern, be that historic or ongoing, is discussed with your own vet prior to any book out appointment.
The kittens can live with any other pets with careful introductions and enough space/resources for everyone.
Small pets should be securely housed.
Croissant would likely be okay living with families that have children over the age of 7. Any children in the home will need to be calm and allow him space to settle in at his pace.
Pain au Chocolat & Cheese Twist would be happiest in a calm, quiet home that have older children over 13. They will need lots of safe hidey holes that she can retreat to as they settle in.
The kittens will need inside and outside access with gradual introductions to outside once old enough and settled into their new home. Where possible these introductions should be through a garden and not directly onto a road.
Meet the Pastry Kittens!
Croissant is a young kitten who didn’t get the best start in life and missed out on some early socialisation, so he can be nervous around people at first. Loud noises or sudden movements may startle him, but underneath that uncertainty is a playful, curious little cat who is learning every day that humans can be kind. Watching him grow in confidence is incredibly rewarding. He loves food so this is a wonderful way to gain his trust!
Cheese Twist is a gentle little kitten who is still learning that the world — and people — can be safe. Found as an under socialised stray, she can be nervous and cautious at first, but little by little her confidence is starting to emerge. She absolutely loves playing with her siblings and is happiest when she’s chasing toys, watching the action from a safe spot, or joining in once she feels comfortable. While she’s still shy, she’s beginning to show signs that she enjoys affection too — especially a soft ear scritch when she’s feeling brave.
Pain au Chocolat is a very worried little kitten who is still trying to figure out whether the world is a safe place. Having missed out on important early socialisation, she currently finds people quite scary and spends much of her time hiding where she feels safest. Right now, Pain au Chocolat isn’t the kind of kitten who will run up for cuddles or attention. She needs patient, understanding people who can accept her exactly as she is and allow her to move at her own pace, without pressure or expectations.
These kittens can be rehomed as a pair or as singles.
These kittens are currently living in a foster home and will be allocated a temporary unit at the centre on the day of book-out. Most cats find unfamiliar environments quite stressful and this can affect their behaviour in the cattery, meaning that you might not be able to observe what the cat’s temperament is typically like in a familiar setting. If you would like to meet this cat prior to rehoming, as a minimum you will be able to see the cat, but this may be the extent of the interaction depending on the cat’s response to the new environment.
