Could you star in The Dog House?
If you're looking for a match, filming for the next series starts this Spring.
Due to Duchess coming to us with no history, we are unsure as to how she may behave when left alone. We recommend that her home alone time is built up gradually, once she has started to settle into her new environment.
Duchess has historic medical conditions, namely being underweight and having some superficial cuts on her ears, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome them and you are a successful match.
We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home.
We feel that Duchess would prefer to not live with another dog, however she could have a some calm walking buddies.
When interacting with other dogs, Duchess is not looking to play but is able to co exist around them.
Being a stray we are unsure if Duchess has been around children before. After assessing her behaviours on site, we feel that Duchess has the potential to live with children aged 8 years and above.
Due to being recommended to stay on lead in public, we feel that it would be beneficial for Duchess to have a garden space of her own where she can potter around, rest and play. This space would also help with house training.
Duchess is a beautiful Lurcher with the sweetest soul and a tail that never stops wagging! Known for her pretty face and silly striped tail-often compared to a little tiger-she’s as unique as she is pretty.
A true social butterfly, Duchess adores people and thrives on attention. She’s happiest when she’s the centre of affection, soaking up all the fuss and cuddles she can get. If you’re looking for a dog who loves human company, Duchess will be right by your side.
She certainly enjoys the good things in life- mealtimes and snacks are a definite highlight of her day! When she’s not enjoying a tasty treat, you’ll often find her curled up in her bed having a cosy snooze or quietly watching the world go by.
Duchess is now searching for her forever home: a warm, loving place where she can settle in beside her humans, feel safe and cherished, and receive all the love she truly deserves.
I'm auditioning a new family, but there are plenty of other dogs in need of a good home. Why not take a look?
