Max will need some ongoing training in his new home around veterinary situations

Can I be left alone?

Yes

Max can have his home alone time built up to 8 hours a day after a settling in period.

Do I have any medical conditions?

Existing conditions

Max has some medical conditions, namely requiring a dental, saliva staining and anal irritation that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome them and you are a successful match.

We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home.

Additional information

Max would prefer not to share his indoor space with other dogs but he would enjoy having some calm walking buddies that he can mix on and off lead with.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Max would prefer to live with older teenage children aged 13+ who are old enough to read and understand his body language.

What type of environment would suit me?

Whilst Max would enjoy a garden, it is not essential providing he has plenty of toilet opportunities and time in secure fields and longlines to allow for more freedom.

About Max

Max is a lovely, gentle soul with a wonderfully warm personality. A true gentleman at heart, don’t let his age fool you, beneath that wise exterior is a burst of youthful energy just waiting to shine.

He absolutely adores long walks, getting the chance to stretch his legs and explore at his own pace. Give him some off-lead time in a garden, and you’ll see his playful side come alive, rolling happily in the grass and soaking up every joyful moment.

Just as much as he loves adventure, Max also loves relaxing with his people, enjoying their company and settling in close for some well-earned rest. He’s also a clever boy, quick to pick things up and always aware of what’s going on around him.
