Additional information
Obsidian has lived with other cats before – he would generally avoid any interaction with them but also didn’t get into any scrapes. He could live with another cat in his new home providing they are cat-friendly and all introductions are carried out carefully. They will need enough space and resources to be able to avoid each other. He has never lived with a dog before and is quite a skittish boy in new situations – while he could live with a dog with careful introductions once he’s settled, it is essential that any dog is calm, cat-friendly and well behaved.
Family and environment
What kind of family am I looking for?
Obsidian could live with children aged 7+ years of age as long as they are quiet and calm with him and respectful of his space, especially during his settling period.
What type of environment would suit me?
Obsidian is used to a rural area with little traffic flow, so is likely not very road-wise. Ideally, he would like to live in a similar kind of environment where he isn’t likely to see much traffic or in a home where he has a safe, private garden where he can potter around and explore.
About Obsidian
Obsidian is a nervous chap at the moment but we are hoping with time and space to settle in with us, he’ll come out of his shell and show his more confident side. In his previous home, he was friendly, affectionate, and he frequently enjoyed snuggling on the sofa for a lap cuddle! He also loved to play – his favourite toy being a cardboard box which he could leap in and out of.
