What kind of family am I looking for?
Dwarf hamsters are known for being fast and active, so are more suited to a family who are happy to watch them, over trying to handle them. With Pumpkin Spice being a little more reserved, a family who can give her time to settle and trust will be important for her.
What type of environment would suit me?
Dwarf hamsters require plenty of floor space as they prefer to travel low to the ground rather than climb. They are superb burrowers, so deep bedding is a must for these small creatures. The ideal size is a 100cm wide by 50cm deep by 40cm high cage with 7mm bar spacing.

About Pumpkin Spice
Sweet Pumpkin Spice is looking for her new family, she will be looking for a hamster savvy home who can give her that little bit of extra time to settle. She finds moving quite stressful and needs some patience while she learns to trust her new carers. This being said, once she is feeling safe of her new family she will not fail to bring you joy! Watching her rummage around her cage, foraging at her sprays and going 100mph on her wheel will be some of the many things that Pumpkin Spice does to make you smile. Watching her trust grow is something so special and rewarding, your heart will grow so much each time her little face peeps out to see you.
