Pet advice from Woodgreen
From behavioural issues to dietary needs, we’ve got you covered.
Woodgreen Pets Charity rehomes an average of 700 dogs each year from its centre in Cambridgeshire. Whilst many of these are matched with new homes within an average of 35 days, the charity specialises in ‘high-end need’ dogs that require more intensive behavioural rehabilitation.
Cambridgeshire-based Woodgreen Pets Charity has secured support from one of the UK’s leading pet food manufacturers, Burgess Pet Care, for the 12th year running.
Woodgreen Pets Charity is regularly called upon to collect vulnerable cats and small pets from North London* – a vital service that has given a second chance to a number of pets in need. One of these pets is Fred, a young cat from Haringey, whose owners were unable to afford his veterinary treatment until Woodgreen stepped in.
As puppies acquired during lockdown reach their challenging adolescent stage, and the COVID-19 pandemic continues to leave many people struggling, Woodgreen Pets Charity has made extra provisions to be there for those in need.
Woodgreen Pets Charity has launched a new tribute site, giving people the opportunity to celebrate the life of a loved friend, family member or special pet whilst making a difference to pets in need. At a time of giving back and remembering those no longer with us, Woodgreen invites its local community to consider setting up a tribute fund this December.
