Every day poorly, injured and homeless cats come to us desperate for help. By sponsoring a cat you will provide warm shelter, food, medical care and lots of love for lots of pets one after the other. And we will keep you updated at every step of their journey.

11-year-old Blodwyn was brought to Woodgreen after her owner sadly passed away. She is a keen explorer and loves nothing more than leaping in and out of her cat flap.

What is included in your sponsorship?
With your sponsorship you’ll get to know lots of cats. We’ll keep you up-to-date with their journey with Woodgreen. All the little details that make them who they are – from their favourite toys and snacks to the games they love to play.
We will send you monthly email updates on how your cat’s lives are changing and updates by post three times a year.
You will also receive our welcome pack, special sponsor’s certificate, photos, invitations to Woodgreen supporter events, our supporter magazine, Pets Matter and much more.

Do I sponsor just one pet?
No, you’ll help lots of homeless pets, one after the other. As soon as we find one pet a new loving home, another will come in where they’ll receive the loving care they need.
Can I sponsor more than one pet or species?
Can I sponsor more than one pet or species?
Yes, you can sponsor up to three species at once: one for dogs, one for cats, and one for small animals like rabbits and guinea pigs. If you would like to sponsor another pet, simply call us on 0300 303 9876.
Where does my sponsorship money go?

It helps pay for the love and care that your sponsored pets receive: everything from nutritious food and toys that help to build trust to essential vaccinations and, if required, life-saving surgery. It also helps support every pet who comes to us for a second chance at life, right up until the day we find them a new, loving home.

Each pet is supported by a number of kind sponsors. We simply couldn’t provide all the food, warmth and expert care that homeless pets need without that generous help.

Yes, we’ll send you regular updates, including photos and videos, that show you how the pets you sponsor are getting on. You’ll feel like you’re really getting to know them. Plus, we’ll let you know the great news when a pet has moved on to a new loving home.

Yes, it is possible to adopt a cat you sponsor. However, because we try to find each pet a new loving home as quickly as possible, the pet you wish to adopt may not be available. Call us on 0300 303 9333 if you’d like further details.

Of course! We’ll email you the wonderful news and introduce you to the new pet you’ll be sponsoring. This is one of the best parts of being a sponsor, when you know a pet you’ve cared for has found a new loving home.
