Support and Health

How much training will I need?

Needs ongoing support

Can I be left alone?

Potentially, once settled

We have no history of whether Armani has been left home alone. After she has settled into her new home and grasped the basics, this time can then be built up slowly. For now, she is looking for owners who are at home most of the time.

Do I have any medical conditions?

None

This pet has a medical concern, namely hair loss in a couple of areas, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome this pet and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical concern, be that historic or ongoing, is discussed with your own vet prior to any book out appointment.

Who I can live with

Can I live with dogs?

Yes

Can I live with cats?

No

Can I live with small pets?

No

Additional information

Armani has shown a prey-drive towards cats and small animals so she is not looking to live with any. She is desperate to meet other dogs and is under-going some training to help appropriately introduce her to them. She could potentially live with a mature, similar-sized male who will be a good role model for her to learn from.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Armani is under-socialised and fearful of new people. She is at a vital stage in her development and so she is looking for an adult-only home with no visiting children where her owners can continue to build positive associations around strangers.

What type of environment would suit me?

It is important that Armani has a large private, secure garden where she can relax off lead and burn off some energy. It will also help with any basic training, like house-training.

About Armani

Armani is a sweet and friendly girl with people she is bonded to. However, she does find the world a bit of a worrying place to navigate so is looking for someone to help her build her confidence and be consistent with her training.

Armani is strong and still very young so will get a lot bigger. With caring and patience, she has the potential to thrive in a home.

Armani is looking for dedicated owners who have an understanding of her breed and needs to ensure she continues to socialise appropriately. In return, she will be an incredibly loyal and loving companion.

Sensitive, strong, and wary of strangers, the Cane Corso is not a dog for the faint-hearted. But with the right training, they’ll thrive! Learn more about the breed at Ask Woodgreen.
