Could you star in The Dog House?
If you're looking for a match, filming for the next series starts this Spring.
Bambi has medical concerns, namely obesity, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome this pet and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical concern, be that historic or ongoing, is discussed with your own vet prior to any book out appointment.
Due to how timid and on edge Bambi can be she cannot live with other cats or dogs. She can however live with securely-housed smaller animals.
Bambi would like a patient and understanding family (adults only) due to her scared nature and needing patience and space.
Bambi would love a home with both indoor and outdoor access into a secure garden. Bambi has not been outdoors before and so is looking for a home with access to a private garden so she can explore the outdoors if she chooses to. She would benefit from lots of hiding areas in the garden for her to retreat to if she gets spooked. She will need gradual introductions to the outdoors at her own pace. During the early days of her going outside, it would be best to do this via a back door or window that is left open for her to gain quick access back indoors.
Bambi is a delicate lady with the sweetest eyes and the most beautiful of coats. She’s very unsure around people and needs plenty of quiet time and space before she feels safe enough to show her true self. Bambi would do best in a calm, peaceful home with a family willing to move at her pace. Patience, respect, and kindness will win Bambi’s heart.
This cat has been placed in a foster home due to its nervous disposition and will be allocated a temporary unit at the centre on the day of book-out. Unfamiliar environments can be particularly stressful for nervous cats, therefore in order to safeguard its welfare and to promote positive interactions between you and your pet, it will not be possible to meet this cat prior to rehoming. Videos and photographs will be available to give you the opportunity to view the cat’s behaviour in a familiar setting and help you make a decision.
Ready to get started? We always start with our pets’ individual needs, which is why we need to find out a bit more about you first.
