Additional information

As with all small pets, we will need to be housed securely away from any other pets in the home.

All of our single guinea pigs are waiting to mix with owned pets. Please only apply for them if you already have a guinea pig who is in search of a companion.

If you currently do not have any guinea pigs in your care and would like to rehome, please check the pairs/groups we have available.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Guinea pigs can make lovely pets for all the family, they are loveable and charming little animals. Beebe can take a little bit of time to settle into a new environment, but she soon warms up to her carers and learns to trust them. She will soon be squeaking away for her daily veggies and treats, coming over to get some more.

What type of environment would suit me?

The minimum accommodation for a pair of guinea pigs consists of a 5ft by 2ft (152cm by 61cm) hutch or indoor cage and a 6ft long by 4ft wide by 18 inches high (183cm by 122 cm) wooden framed run with a removable/hinged lid for the grass.

About Beebee

Beebee is a gorgeous little girl who took a few weeks to fully settle. Since then, she has grown wonderfully in confidence and will now happily come out with a bit of gentle talking and the promise of some veggie treats.

We are incredibly proud of how far shee has come, and she is now showing her cheeky yet gentle personality. Beebee is looking for a home where she can bond with a new guinea pig friend or two, who can help show her the ropes of popcorning and happy zoomies.

If you have a Beebee-sized space in your family, please do get in touch via the website.

Things to note

Is your guinea pig looking for a companion? As well as rehoming bonded pairs we help to find companions for single guinea pigs. We offer an onsite mixing service and can support with mixes taking place in the home. To find out more about our mixing service Woodgreen’s small pet mixing service | Woodgreen Pets Charity

We do have other single guinea pigs but as the demand for mixing can be high, sometimes these pets are matched with customers already on the waiting list. If you are looking for a companion for your guinea pig, please complete the registration form and we will be happy to discuss the next steps with you.
