Blu and Terry are best friends, can you offer them the forever home they need?
Blu and Terry are best friends, can you offer them the forever home they need?
Terry and Blue have been able to be left comfortably for 3 hours in their foster home.
Any home alone time will need to be refreshed in their new home but they should be able to do a few hours again.
Terry has historic medical conditions, namely blindness; he has also had episodes of coughing and a cyst that was removed, which have since resolved.
Blu has historic medical conditions, namely having Brachycephalic Airway Obstruction Syndrome (BOAS) Grade 1; this does not currently require treatment. She has also had an ear infection, an ulcer on the eye, and a benign mass that have both been removed and are now resolved.
Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome them and you are a successful match.
We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home.
Blu and Terry must be rehomed together; they’re best buddies.
Terry gets excited when he hears other dogs on his walks. Blu isn’t very interested in other dogs but is happy to say a quick hello before moving on.
Terry and Blu are happy to have some calm walking buddies, who, like them, are happy to enjoy the sights and smells of their walk rather than a playmate.
Terry and Blu can live with children aged 8+ that can respect and understand that Terry is blind.
They are an affectionate pair who love being around their favourite people. When Terry hears you he will run over for some fuss and relies on his nose to get around.
Terry and Blu will need to have a secure private garden of their own. Due to Terry being completely blind this will be a nice safe space for him to explore.
Meet Terry and Blu — a wonderful duo with so much love to give.
Blu is not only Terry’s best friend but also his loyal guide dog. Together, they make an inseparable team. Terry doesn’t need his eyes to see the world — his incredible senses tell him everything he needs to know. With Blu by his side, he navigates life with confidence, curiosity, and plenty of personality. He loves nothing more than sniffing around, exploring his surroundings, and being close to his people.
Blu also loves being out exploring, enjoying some play and then soaking in all the love.
Together, Terry and Blu are a truly special pair, full of love, trust, and companionship.
Terry is a male Yorkshire Terrier, aged 7 years.
