Pet advice from Woodgreen
From behavioural issues to dietary needs, we’ve got you covered.
Briar has shown herself to be settled when left for an 8 hour working day.
Although she can manage this, in a new home it will need to be built up, rather than done straight away.
Briar has current medical conditions, namely dermaitis, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome them and you are a successful match.
We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home.
Briar does enjoy meeting other dogs and is polite towards them. If another dog has had enough or is not interested then she is happy to wander on and do her own thing.
We feel she would love to have some calm walking buddies of a similar size to her, who would be up for a play as well.
Briar would need a calm home with infrequent visitors due to her being a slightly nervous girl. She finds busy locations or lots of people to be a bit stressful.
Due to this any children in the home would need to be aged 11 plus.
Briar has shown a wonderful warmth to her regular handlers. Once you are in her circle she will look to you for regular fuss in the form of chest rubs.
Briar does not need her own private garden.
She previously lived in an apartment and could do again, provided she has access to frequent walks.
Briar is a sweet, sensitive girl who is looking for patient, understanding owners to help her build her confidence. She loves her people and is always happy to jump onto your lap for some fuss and gentle chest rubs.
Briar enjoys playing with soft, squeaky toys and going on quiet adventures with her humans. She also likes meeting calm, playful dogs along the way.
With time, patience and plenty of reassurance, Briar will make a loving and devoted companion. She’s looking for a home where she can feel safe, secure and truly blossom.
