Support and Health

How much training will I need?

Needs ongoing support

Can I be left alone?

Potentially, once settled

Cashew came in as a stray so his previous experience of being left home alone is unknown.

Due to this any home alone time will need building from scratch.

Do I have any medical conditions?

Existing conditions

Cashew has current medical condition, namely scaling skin, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome them and you are a successful match.

We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home.

Who I can live with

Can I live with dogs?

No

Can I live with cats?

No

Can I live with small pets?

No

Additional information

Cashew is a worried boy around other dogs.

He will need to be the only dog in the home and be walked in quiet areas where he can just be with his people.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Cashew is nervous of loud noises and sudden movements, so will need people who understand this and can respect his boundaries. Cashew does form bonds with his people when he’s built his trust and shows his excitable tippy tap dance when he sees them!

Due to his timidness any children in the home would need to be aged 13 years plus.

What type of environment would suit me?

Cashew will need his own private garden so he has a safe outdoor space to explore while he builds his confidence.

About Cashew

Meet Cashew!

Cashew is the sweetest boy who is looking for a loving home where he can truly flourish. He absolutely adores people and has a wonderfully gentle, friendly nature. When he gets excited, he does the cutest little hops and skips that are guaranteed to make you smile!

Cashew is currently very nervous of the world and needs a patient and loving home to help him find his feet. Watching Cashew grow in confidence and discover his happy, cheeky personality will be incredibly rewarding. He has plenty of love to give and is looking for a safe space to share it.
