Support and Health

Do I have any medical conditions?

History of

This pet has an historic medical concern, namely an abscess that has now healed, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome this pet and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical concern, be that historic or ongoing, is discussed with your own vet prior to any book out appointment.

Who I can live with

Can I live with dogs?

Yes

Can I live with cats?

Yes

Can I live with small pets?

Yes

Additional information

Chocolate has lived with other cats previously so may be ok to do so again with enough space and resources.
Unknown if she has lived with a dog before – may be ok to live with a dog with careful introductions. Given her timid nature, would need to be a calm dog
Small pets will need to be securely housed.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Chocolate may be okay to live with families that have children over the age of 7 as long as they give her space to settle and she has cosy areas of her own to relax in.

What type of environment would suit me?

Once settled in her new home, Chocolate will need access to the outdoors. We are unsure how much access she has had previously so would benefit from a private back garden away from busy roads to start exploring.

About Chocolate

Meet Chocolate.

Chocolate is a shy and sensitive soul who finds the world a little overwhelming at first. New places and new faces can make her nervous, so she’ll need a patient, understanding home where she can take things at her own pace. But oh, once she trusts you… that’s when the magic happens.

With gentle words and a calm presence, Chocolate slowly blossoms. Offer her a soft chin tickle and you’ll see her eyes soften as she leans in, melting into your hand. When she’s feeling safe and content, she shows her happiness with the sweetest little “paddy paws,” kneading away in pure relaxation as she soaks up your company.
