History of

Cookie has current medical concerns, namely she requires a dental which will be done prior to her being rehomed, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome this pet and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical concern, be that historic or ongoing, is discussed with your own vet prior to any book out appointment

No

Yes

Additional information

Cookie is scared of other cats and dogs so needs to be the only pet in the home.
Small pets will need to be securely housed.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Cookie is a little timid and easily worried, so needs a quiet, adult home (calm older teenagers would be fine). Once she trusts you she is an affectionate companion.

What type of environment would suit me?

Cookie would benefit from access to a quiet back garden away from the road. She needs easy access back indoors if worried. She has not used a cat flap before.

About Cookie

This pretty older lady is looking for a calm and quiet home where she can relax and bond with her owners in her own time. She is easily worried so would like a home where there isn’t too much coming and going, with plenty of her own safe places to retreat to if she wants to. Cookie responds well to a patient and gentle approach, and when she’s feeling confident she’s out and about exploring her unit, enjoying fuss and hopping onto a lap. She is easily spooked by noises or sudden movements, so will need a quiet approach while she settles.

Things to note

Cookie will benefit from a patient and gentle approach, with plenty of safe hiding places while she settles. This allows her to gain her confidence in her own time and show her true affectionate personality.
