How much training will I need?
Can I be left alone?
Cookie has previously been left for a maximum of 3 hours.
She would initially whine when first left but then settled quickly. Gradually building up to this time would be needed.
She is a clever cookie who is able to open doors so this should be considered when being left alone.
Do I have any medical conditions?
Cookie has a clean bill of health and can be fully insured after rehoming.
Who I can live with
Can I live with dogs?
Can I live with cats?
Can I live with small pets?
Additional information
Cookie is vocal and barks at other dogs that she sees but is undergoing training to help with this reactivity.
She has made good progress but new owners would need to continue this. It may never lead to her being comfortable around other dogs.
Family and environment
What kind of family am I looking for?
Cookie will need to live with dog-savvy children aged 13 years +.
She is wary of new people and finds novel items quite worrying, such as umbrellas. But once she knows you she is a very enthusiastic and affectionate girl.
What type of environment would suit me?
Cookie loved being out in the garden (she would even jump on the trampoline). She will need a secure, safe garden where she can be off lead to run around, play and train.
She would need 6ft fencing that she can’t see through.
She does struggle hearing noisy dogs so this should be considered when she’s out in the garden.

She is such an affectionate lady with the people she knows and loves nothing more than spending time with them: playing, training and relaxing.
She loves to run around and have a good time, exploring her environment and getting all the good sniffs. She does have a sensitive side and is looking for an understanding family willing to carry on her training.
