How much training will I need?

Can I be left alone?

We are unsure if Crumpet has ever been left in a home on her own before so this training will need to be started slowly from scratch after an initial settling in period.

Do I have any medical conditions?

Crumpet has a historic medical condition, namely being Thin/underweight, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome them and you are a successful match.  

We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home. 

Can I live with dogs?

Can I live with cats?

Can I live with small pets?

Additional information

Crumpet has met a number of dogs and has been polite with them. However, she doesn’t gain much from spending time with other dogs and would much rather focus her attention on her people. She could potentially enjoy having some suitable walking companions, provided they are calm and not overly boisterous. That said, she would be just as happy sticking close to her people.

What kind of family am I looking for?

After assessing Crumpet’s behaviour here at Woodgreen, we feel that Crumpet has the potential to live with children aged 8 years and above. Any children in the home will need to understand that she has a sensitive side and be respectful of her needs.

What type of environment would suit me?

Crumpet will need he new home to have its own secure, privet garden. We feel she would benefit from having a secure outdoor area to relax in. It will also help with toilet training and confidence building.
