Meet Chips, a wonderful Lurcher with a big heart and a love for his people! He’s happiest when he’s spending time with his favourite humans, especially if there’s a comfy sofa where he can snuggle up and rest his head on your lap.
Chips also has a playful side and loves nothing more than flinging his toys around and having a good zoomies in the garden! He enjoys going on walks with his humans, taking his time to explore the world around him and sniff out all the exciting smells.
With his lovely mix of cuddles, playfulness and love for the great outdoors, Chips is a delightful companion who would love to find his special people to share all these little joys with.
Chips has been able to be left happily for up to five hours on his own on foster. He could do this again after an initial settling in period.
This pet has a clean bill of health and can be fully insured after rehoming.
Chips doesn’t appear to gain much from interacting with other dogs and prefers simply doing his own thing.
For this reason, we feel Chips would be happiest not greeting other dogs while out on walks. Instead, he will benefit from continuing his training to calmly disengage, walk past other dogs, and focus on enjoying his adventures with his people.
Chips can live with children aged 11+.
He is friendly when meeting new people and approaches calmly with a happy tail. He loves spending time with his people and will happily ask for affection when he wants it.
When Chips was on foster, he loved sleeping on the sofa with the fosterers and resting his head on their lap. He also enjoys learning and gets very excited when he’s rewarded for making good choices.
Chips will need a secure, private garden in his new home where he can enjoy some off-lead zoomies and playtime. He loves toys, particularly flinging them around and zooming about with them. His favourites are definitely soft, squeaky teddies!
