Additional information

Dexter can be selective of who he wants to be friends with, we have seen he tends to prefer calm, gentle dogs. Dexter can find the presence of overexcited dogs overwhelming and can bark at them to create space.

Dexter has the potential for walking buddies in the future, following slow introductions and once he has settled in to his new home.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Dexter can live with teenagers aged 13+.

Dexter finds noisy environments worrying, so will need a quiet and calm home, which will allow him to settle in and then come out of his shell. Once he knows his people he is a wiggly and affectionate boy, he just needs the time to get to know you.

What type of environment would suit me?

Dexter will need a secure, private garden with 6ft fencing. He loves to lay in the sun, so having a safe space to relax is important for him.

About Dexter

Dexter is such a sweet and sensitive boy. He can be quite a nervous soul and takes a little time to build trust, but once you become his best friend, he will shower you with love.

Dexter gets incredibly excited to see his favourite people and will often greet them by jumping up and showing off his adorable, wiggly moves. He is looking for a quiet, peaceful home with minimal going-ons, where he can settle in at his own pace and feel safe and secure.

When it comes to walks, Dexter enjoys heading out with his select canine friends and would love a home that understands his gentle nature and gives him the time and patience he needs to flourish.

With the right person by his side, Dexter has so much love to give and will make a truly wonderful companion.
