Eric used to be left for up to 3 hours in his previous home. He would however only settle down once tired, which was normally after having a walk and being left with some fun enrichment games to occupy his brain.
Eric has the potential to have this built up again gradually once he is settled, providing he has what’s needed prior.
Eric has a clean bill of health and can be fully insured after rehoming.
Eric would enjoy having some appropriate doggy walking buddies in his next home, which won’t mind his bouncy energy at times.
Due to some of Eric’s behaviours and that he is a large and excitable boy at times, Eric will need to live with older, confident children aged 13 plus.
It is important for all children to know and respect Eric’s boundaries, giving him space when needed.
Eric loves being in the garden and liked to sit at the picnic table in his last home! He is looking for a secure private garden in his next home, with 5ft fencing.
Eric is a handsome, energetic and incredibly intelligent young boy who is looking for an active family ready to keep his clever mind and busy paws entertained!
He absolutely loves getting out and about, and swimming is his favourite thing to do! Whether it’s a splash in a lake or a dip in the sea, Eric is happiest when he’s enjoying the great outdoors.
This smart boy would also thrive with a family who enjoys training and would love to teach him new skills. Eric has plenty of potential and would relish the chance to learn.
His new family will need to be committed to ongoing training and provide him with plenty of consistency, structure and opportunities to learn. Eric does have some resource guarding tendencies, which will need to be carefully managed. His new family should be prepared to continue working on this behaviour with our guidance.
With the right home, Eric has so much to offer. This bright, active boy could make a fantastic companion for a family ready to embrace his energy, intelligence and love of learning!
