Pet advice from Woodgreen
From behavioural issues to dietary needs, we’ve got you covered.
Folly has historic medical concerns, namely she has had a dental whilst in our care, that will require consideration before she is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome this pet and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical concern, be that historic or ongoing, is discussed with your own vet prior to any book out appointment.
Folly could live with cats with gradual introductions. Small animals are fine if securely housed.
Folly would like to live with adults and only children 7 or over – children need to be calm and able to give her plenty of space if she wants it. She doesn’t like being picked up or over-handled.
Needs both indoor and outdoor access but not very roadwise so best suited to a moderate – low traffic area.
Folly came to us and was a really scared and reserved lady. She would hide away and was extremely unsure of people. Soon enough, she learnt to trust her carer and started coming out of her shell. Once she found her footing, she was exploring, eating really well, rubbing around and accepting gentle fuss. Everything needs to be on her terms but Folly is a really sweet older lady who would make a wonderful companion for someone who is patient with her. She would like a calm and quiet home with lots of places for her to tuck away if she wants to be left alone. It may take a while for her to gain this confidence and build trust with her family, but when she does it is extremely rewarding to see her flourish!
