Support and Health

How much training will I need?

Needs ongoing support

Can I be left alone?

Potentially, once settled

Harriet came to us as a stray and so we do not know if she has been left home alone before.

She has been observed being settled in her kennel during quieter periods onsite. However, any home alone time must be built up slowly at Harriet’s pace.

Do I have any medical conditions?

None

This pet has a clean bill of health and can be fully insured after rehoming.

Who I can live with

Can I live with dogs?

No

Can I live with cats?

Yes, conditionally - a bold, dog-savvy cat pending appropriate introductions.

Can I live with small pets?

Yes, conditionally - Securely house and kept separately.

Additional information

Harriet is working on her training to build up her confidence around other dogs. She has walked nicely with calm dogs who have ignored her, but can still be worried by more excitable dogs.

Her training on this will need to be continued in her new home.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Harriet is a very sweet natured girl and although we do not have any history of how she is with children, we feel she could live with children aged 8 plus.

We always recommend that any interactions are supervised and that Harriet is given space as and when she needs it.

What type of environment would suit me?

Harriet will need her own secure private garden. This will give her a space to burn off some energy and engage in her training, it will also help with her toilet training.

About Harriet

Harriet is a beautiful young Spaniel cross with the sweetest nature and so much love to give. She absolutely adores her people and is happiest when she’s by your side, whether that’s out on an adventure or curled up at home after a fun day together.

She’s an incredibly intelligent girl who learns new things in no time at all. Harriet loves training and is always eager to please, especially when there are tasty treats involved! Being such a foodie means she’s a joy to teach, and she’ll thrive with someone who enjoys continuing her training and keeping her clever mind busy.

When it comes to other dogs, Harriet can sometimes feel a little worried. She’s happiest when she has plenty of space and will usually choose to avoid other dogs if she can. If a dog is overly bouncy or gets into her personal space, she’ll let them know with a bark, asking them to give her some room. With understanding owners who can advocate for her and continue building her confidence, Harriet will flourish.

Harriet is looking for a kind, patient home where she can feel safe, loved, and understood. In return, she’ll reward you with endless affection, loyalty, and plenty of smiles. If you’re looking for a clever, loving companion who will become your biggest fan, Harriet could be the perfect match.
