Support and Health

Do I have any medical conditions?

Existing conditions

This pet has a medical concern, namely a small chip to her tooth that currently doesn’t require any action, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome this pet and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical concern, be that historic or ongoing, is discussed with your own vet prior to any book out appointment.

Who I can live with

Can I live with dogs?

No

Can I live with cats?

No

Can I live with small pets?

Yes

Additional information

Inferno would be okay to live with small animals if securely housed and out of reach. We feel that she would find it too stressful to live with a dog or cat, so would prefer to be the only pet in the home.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Inferno can live with adults only, this is due to her getting overstimulated and not wanting to be over-handled or picked up. Her family must allow her time to settle in and let her initiate affection/fuss. She can be really affectionate when her boundaries are respected and she has time to open up.

What type of environment would suit me?

Inferno isn’t used to going outdoors so would need to be rehomed to an area with low traffic, away from busy roads. In her settling room she will need plenty of hiding places. She will definitely need both indoor and outdoor access and plenty of toys and enrichment in her home to keep her entertained!

About Inferno

Meet Inferno!
Inferno may be a little fiery when she first meets you, but given time, patience, and a gentle approach, she soon warms up into a sweet and chatty companion who enjoys being around her people. When she’s feeling unsure, she might give a little hiss, but if you stay calm and give her space, you’ll help her confidence grow.
The quickest way to light the flame of friendship with Inferno is through her favourite Lick-e-Lix treats! She prefers a wet-only diet, as dry food just doesn’t interest her. Inferno also has a playful streak and would love a home stocked with toys to keep her inner spark alive.
Being overstimulated at times, she likes to have her own space where she can cool off and relax. She’s looking for a home with people who can read her body language and respect her boundaries.. The best way to build a bond is to let her take the lead—when she’s ready, she’ll come to you, curling up on your lap or brushing against you to show you’ve truly lit a fire in her heart.
Inferno would prefer a calm, child-free home where things stay nice and relaxed. With a patient and understanding family, this little lady is sure to turn from a shy and cautious lady into a warm, loving flame who will brighten your home.
