She can live with securely caged small pets. She might be able to live with dogs and cats providing they have plenty of space and resources.
Family and environment
What kind of family am I looking for?
As Kittiwake is quite worried and in need of patience and calm, any children would need to be over 13 years old.
What type of environment would suit me?
Kittiwake will need access to the outdoors once settled into her new home. We don’t know whether she has any previous experience of the outdoors so will need gradual introductions to a private garden with plenty of hiding places and free access to the home or a safe space if she gets spooked.
About Kittiwake
Kittiwake was found abandoned in an empty house, so we have no information on her from before she was rescued. She is understandably quite shaken by her ordeal and has spent much of her time with us hiding in cosy, dark spaces. That said she has never displayed any negative behaviours and she is showing some interest in people, but going forwards she is going to need time and a lot of love before she will feel safe and secure enough to relax and enjoy life, and people again.
