Pet advice from Woodgreen
From behavioural issues to dietary needs, we’ve got you covered.
Kiva came into us as a stray so we’re unsure if she’s been left home alone before. She has the potential to do a few hours once she’s settled in and had her training worked on.
Kiva has historic medical conditions, namely a gait abnormality and has ingested a foreign object, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome them and you are a successful match.
We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home.
Kiva is a social girl who enjoys walking with other dogs and, when matched with a dog that suits her energy and play style, she loves a good play session too.
She could live with a male dog of a similar size or larger, provided he can match her energy levels and playful nature.
Kiva can live with children aged 11+.
She has come out of her shell since coming into us but can still get a little worried when meeting new people. If they let her approach in her own time and offer a treat she’s soon asking for fuss with a waggy tail.
Once you’ve got to know her she’s a fun, loveable goofball, rolling around on your lap and leaning into you for bum scratches.
Kiva will need a secure, private garden in her new home so she’s got a space to burn off some energy and to help with her toilet training.
Kiva is a gentle, affectionate girl who’s happiest when she’s close to her people. She has a lovely habit of leaning in for a fuss and will quietly snuggle up beside you given the chance.
She enjoys the company of other dogs and is great on social walks, taking everything in with curiosity and a playful spirit. Her long, gangly legs can make her a bit clumsy at times, which only adds to her charm.
Kiva would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a kind, easy-going dog with a touch of character.
