Could you star in The Dog House?
If you're looking for a match, filming for the next series starts this Spring.
Koala will need ongoing support around wildlife and other dogs.
Koala will need ongoing support around wildlife and other dogs.
Koala is currently in a foster home and has settled in well to a home environment. Although she hasn’t been left home alone in her foster home, her fosterers report that at night she sleeps downstairs and settles quickly in her own bed, not waking until the morning.
Her home alone is a work in progress so she will need plenty of time to settle in before her home alone time can be built up very gradually.
Koala has a historic medical condition, namely a gait abnormality which we have found to be of no concern, but will require consideration before she is rehomed.
Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome them and you are a successful match.
We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home.
Koala may bark at other dogs and wildlife out on her walks, but she has come on leaps and bounds with her clicker training and impressed us all.
She will need quiet walking routes where she can enjoy being with her people and continue her training.
Koala LOVES her people. She is a really affectionate lady and will come in close for chin scratches and fuss. Her favourite thing to do is cuddle up next to you in the tightest ball. Due to her training needs and sometimes bouncy nature, she could live with children aged 8 years and older who won’t be fazed by these.
It is important that Koala has her own safe and secure garden where she can run around, enjoy zoomies and play. Fencing must be a minimum of 6ft.
Who can resist a cute, cuddly Koala!! A charming lady with a big heart and an even bigger personality.
Affection is her speciality and she’ll happily curl up to you for some fuss and nudge your hand if you stop petting her.
She is very food-motivated and this is a great way to get her engaged with her training. She’s improving every day and thrives knowing she’s done well; she’s a clever cookie.
In her foster home, her basic training is progressing well and she’s flourishing.
Koala is ready to bring joy, cuddles and a lot of fun and happiness to her new family. Could this be you?
