From behavioural issues to dietary needs, we’ve got you covered.
This pet has medical concerns, namely otitis externa, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome this pet and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical concern, be that historic or ongoing, is discussed with your own vet prior to any book out appointment.
We don’t know if Mocha has lived with other animals before so may be okay to do so with slow introductions and enough space and resources. We would suggest that dogs should be calm and not too excitable as she can get spooked by sudden or loud noises.
Small pets should be securely housed.
Mocha should be okay to live with children over the age of 7. All children in the home should be calm around her and allow her time to settle in as she can be wary initially.
Mocha will need outside access in her new home once she’s settled in. Where possible these introductions should be through a garden and not directly onto a road.
Mocha is a sweet-natured girl who may be a little nervous when meeting new people, but she quickly comes out of her shell—usually within just a few minutes. Once she feels comfortable, she loves affection and will happily seek out fuss and attention, while still being independent enough to take herself off for some quiet time when she’s had enough.
Mocha enjoys her cat tree, cosy hidey holes for sleeping, and is starting to discover the fun of toys. She especially likes stuffed fish toys and hunting-style games. Like any young cat, she occasionally gets the zoomies and may knead (“paddy paw”) your clothes or skin when she’s feeling content.
Visitors can make her cautious at first, and she’ll often keep a low profile until she’s assessed the situation. However, given a calm environment, she soon warms up and reveals her affectionate, gentle personality.
I'm auditioning a new family, but there are plenty of other cats in need of a good home. Why not take a look?
