Support and Health

How much training will I need?

Needs ongoing support

Can I be left alone?

Potentially, once settled

Ollie is being slowly introduced to being left on his own and has so far been able to do 30 mins. He will need someone around the majority of the time while it’s being built up gradually but he has the potential to do a few hours.

Do I have any medical conditions?

History of

Ollie has previously had an ear infection, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome them and you are a successful match.

We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home.

Who I can live with

Can I live with dogs?

Yes

Can I live with cats?

Yes, conditionally - A bold cat pending correct introductions, he loves to chase, he is mouthy and has very sharp puppy teeth

Can I live with small pets?

Yes, conditionally - Securely housed small pets which he cannot access.

Additional information

Ollie could live with a very tolerant, medium size and up dog who won’t mind his crazy puppy energy. Ollie is a very bold, confident pup in play. When he has met other dogs he did struggle with the difference between appropriate play and inappropriate play, not always understanding/respecting the other dogs space and communications.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Ollie could live with older children aged 13 years+.

Ollie is a very confidant pup who isn’t shy to jump all over you and get in your personal space! He is however going through his teething stage so parents will need to really manage him around children initially whilst he is puppy biting quite hard, as it does hurt, and he can be tricky to distract at times.

Ollie will need a family who are all able to put in consistent effort and structure into home to help him through this tricky time.

What type of environment would suit me?

Ollie will need a garden of his own in a new home, this we also aid in giving him more outdoor space for continued exposure. Its also a great space where he can work on his toilet training.

About Ollie

Ollie is a confident, happy little pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He absolutely loves his toys and will happily entertain himself (or you!) with a good play session before settling in for some cuddles.

Outgoing and full of enthusiasm, Ollie isn’t shy about saying hello and enjoys being right in the middle of the action. As a typical young puppy, he is still learning about the world and will need continued training, guidance, and patience to help him grow into a well-mannered adult. In return, he promises plenty of fun, affection, and loyal companionship for the lucky family who welcomes him home.

Cockapoos are gorgeous, cuddly dogs with a smart side and a passion for playing! Learn more about the breed at Ask Woodgreen.
