Support and Health

How much training will I need?

Needs settling in

Can I be left alone?

Yes

Pippa has been left for a few hours in her previous home and she should be able to do this again after she’s settled in and had her training refreshed.

Do I have any medical conditions?

Existing conditions

Pippa has a history of gall stones and pyoderma. She has a current medical condition, obesity and is on a diet plan to help with this, she has a liver abnormality and will need a dental, which will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome them and you are a successful match.

We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home.

Due to the nature of the medical condition, a vet call with one of our onsite vets will be required before the pet goes home.

Additional information

Pippa is friendly towards other dogs but prefers to keep to herself.

She is happy to walk with calm dogs with a similar personality, giving them a polite greeting before doing her own thing.

Pippa is uncomfortable around more lively dogs so would prefer to avoid them when out on walks.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Pippa can live with children aged 8+.

She is a friendly girl who approaches people with a wagging tail and enjoys some gentle fuss.

What type of environment would suit me?

It isn’t essential for Pippa to have a garden in her new home as long as she gets plenty of toileting opportunities.

About Pippa

Pippa is a lovely older lady but don’t let her age fool you—she still enjoys a good play and has a youthful spark that’s hard to resist.

She’s full of love and always ready to share it, whether that’s through gentle cuddles or her playful, fun-loving spirit.

Pippa is currently on a weight loss journey and doing really well, she will need a home that can continue supporting her progress with care and consistency. She’s a truly special companion just waiting for the right person to give her the happy home she deserves.
