Pet advice from Woodgreen
From behavioural issues to dietary needs, we’ve got you covered.
This pet has historic medical concerns, namely Diarrhoea, Otitis, Conjunctivitis and Feline Acne that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome this pet and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical concern, be that historic or ongoing, is discussed with your own vet prior to any book out appointment.
Any other cats will need to be fully vaccinated as he is a flu carrier.
He is confident so should be fine with a cat-friendly dog given slow introductions.
Due to Polo’s history of being a very active hunter he would be best in a home without any small pets.
He can be a bit full-on and likes to climb up people, so would be best with calm children over 7 years, who can use interactive toys with him. He can also get overstimulated sometimes so older children who can understand when to give him space is ideal.
He will need access to the outdoors, preferably through a cat flap. Polo is a very big hunter so it is expected he will bring “gifts” home to his owners, including larger birds like pigeons. Will need to be careful of outdoor pets in local area.
Meet Polo, a super confident and affectionate chap looking for a home where he will have lots of company and attention! We don’t know a lot about his history, but he showed his friendly side as soon as he arrived. He loves to play with a feather toy, and enjoys climbing up his human onto their shoulders if he gets half a chance! He will benefit from plenty of interactive play to burn of his energy. He will make a wonderful, lively companion in a family with lots of time to give him.

Is a food thief so will need to be careful not to leave any food (pet or human) food out
