Pet advice from Woodgreen
From behavioural issues to dietary needs, we’ve got you covered.
Meet Ronnie, a very sweet and gentle boy who is ready to find out just how wonderful life beyond kennel walls can be.
Ronnie has only ever known life in a kennel, and now it’s his turn to discover the comforts of a loving home. Just imagine him curled up on his very own sofa, surrounded by love, warmth and all the little things that make a house a home.
This lovely boy has a playful side, too! Give him a squeaky toy and you’ll have one very happy Ronnie. He loves having zoomies in a garden, letting those legs stretch out and enjoying the freedom to have a good run around. He also enjoys his walks with his doggy friends, showing us what a lovely companion he can be.
Ronnie has so much love to give and deserves the chance to experience all the things he’s missed out on soft beds, cosy evenings, gentle fusses and a family who will cherish him.
All Ronnie needs now is someone to open their heart and home to him, show him the joys of life as a much loved pet and give him a sofa that he can finally call his own.
Ronnie has not lived in a home before, but we have found, like most greyhounds, he is particularly fond of lazing on the sofa when allowed. He has been clean in his kennel here at Woodgreen, so may well be able to be left for a few hours in his new home, once he has settled in and had a good walk beforehand.
Ronnie has a clean bill of health and can be fully insured after rehoming
Before coming to Woodgreen, Ronnie had only been around other greyhounds, however has just started to find out how much fun other breeds of dogs can be !
He likes to greet other dogs on walks of all sizes and is very tolerant around them and would happily share his home with another dog if they were the right fit for each other.
Although Ronnie has not lived with children, he has met them on his walks and been friendly – albeit a bit excitable and bouncy at times – so we would suggest if living with children in his new home, they would need to over 5 years.
He will need a garden in his new home where he can run around freely as he will not be suitable to go off lead in his new home due to his chase drive.
