Pet advice from Woodgreen
From behavioural issues to dietary needs, we’ve got you covered.
In her previous home, Rosie could be left for a few hours and would happily snooze on the sofa. As she lived with another dog, this will be her first time being left alone, so any time home alone should be introduced gradually once she has settled in.
Rosie has two current medical conditions, namely skin allergies and ophthalmic eye abnormality (which doesn’t affect her vision,) that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. She also has a historical medical condition of otitis externa. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome them and you are a successful match.
We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home.
Due to the nature of the medical condition, a vet call with one of our onsite vets will be required before the pet goes home.
Rosie can bark at other dogs when they get too close out on walks, as she can feel worried in these situations. She is making good progress with her training and this should be continued in her new home. Rosie would love quieter walks where she can enjoy plenty of sniffing and relaxed one-to-one time with her owner.
Rosie would be best suited to a home with children aged 11 and over. She is a sweet girl who enjoys gentle fuss and affection, but can feel worried with some handling, so it is important that her boundaries are understood and respected.
Rosie would like a secure, private garden to enjoy spending some outdoor time in.
Rosie is an incredibly affectionate girl who absolutely adores people. She loves nothing more than being by your side and soaking up all the love and attention you can give her. She really is a sweetheart who doesn’t ask for much – just a cosy place to relax and someone to share her days with.
Out on walks, Rosie loves having a gentle plod besides you and taking in all the amazing sniffs on offer!
Around the home, she’s happiest when snoozing in a comfy spot on the sofa or enjoying plenty of fuss. Her gentle nature makes her wonderful company, and she’s sure to bring lots of love to her forever family.
