Pet advice from Woodgreen
From behavioural issues to dietary needs, we’ve got you covered.
Sally has managed up to 2 hours home alone, remaining settled on her favourite sofa.
Any home alone time will need to be built up gradually at her pace once she’s settled in, but she has shown she is able to do a few hours.
Sally has a current medical condition, namely a Pseudopregnancy. She also has a historic medical condition, namely blood in urine which was resolved. Both of these will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome them and you are a successful match.
We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home.
Due to the nature of the medical condition, a vet call with one of our onsite vets will be required before the pet goes home.
Sally is very polite when meeting other dogs but she doesn’t seek out interactions with them.
She can walk with other calm dogs who like her, are happy to just enjoy the walk rather than a playmate.
Sally is a lone ranger and doesn’t need canine companionship to be her best self.
Sally can live with children aged 8+.
She can be a little nervous around new people and takes time to build a relationship.
Once she’s settled she takes things in her stride and has an independent side to her.
Sally will need a secure, private garden with 6ft fencing.
This will give her a safe space to explore and sniff at her own pace, and also help with her housetraining.
She’s often found sunbathing.
Meet Sally – a gentle, mature lady who enjoys her tasty snacks and leisurely walks. She loves relaxing in a comfy spot and taking in the world around her.
Although she’s an older lady, she recently surprised everyone by making an impressive jump over a baby gate!
Sally may enjoy a slower pace these days, but she still has plenty of spirit and determination.
