Additional information

Sky has lived with other cats before so may be fine with another cat, given slow and careful introductions as well as plenty of their own resources and safe hiding places.

Due to Sky’s very timid nature we recommend she is not rehomed with a dog.

Small pets should be securely housed.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Sky will do best in a quiet adult home (calm older teenagers would be fine). She is timid so will need owners willing to take it at her pace, giving her plenty of cosy hiding spaces as she needs them.

What type of environment would suit me?

Sky has not yet had the chance to explore outside, so would benefit from access to a safe back garden away from the road. She will need easy access back indoors if she is worried. She will need to learn to use a cat flap if one is provided.

About Sky

Sky is a beautifully soft-hearted cat with an equally soft presence. She’s incredibly shy and timid, the kind of companion who won’t rush into your life but will slowly, quietly become part of it in her own time.

Right now, Sky finds the world a little overwhelming. New sounds, new spaces, and new people can make her retreat to where she feels safest. Because of this, she’s looking for a calm, understanding home where she can be given all the time and space she needs to settle in at her own pace.

Sky would thrive in an environment with plenty of cosy hidey holes—little nooks and safe spaces where she can observe the world without feeling exposed. Think soft blankets under beds, covered cat beds, quiet corners—places where she can feel secure while she builds her confidence.
