Support and Health

How much training will I need?

Needs ongoing support

Can I be left alone?

Potentially, once settled

As Slim came to us a stray, we are not sure how he will act when home alone. Any home alone time will need to be built up gradually once settled in a new environment.

Do I have any medical conditions?

Existing conditions

Slim shady has an abnormal gait , that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome them and you are a successful match.

We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home.

Who I can live with

Can I live with dogs?

No

Can I live with cats?

No

Can I live with small pets?

No

Additional information

Slim can be quite over excitable with other dogs so will need some on going training in how to be polite around other dogs.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

We believe that Slim could live with children aged 13 years + who are confident and used to large bouncy dogs.  Older teenage children will be able to get involved with his training.

What type of environment would suit me?

Slim will need his own garden that is fully enclosed with 6 ft fencing around. This will help with toilet training and would be very nice to have an off lead place to run around.
