Sonia is a stray so we do not know whether she’s ever been left home alone. She is looking for owners who are at home most of the time and can build up any home alone up gradually.
Do I have any medical conditions?
This pet has a clean bill of health and can be fully insured after rehoming.

Additional information
Sonia is shy around other dogs but will happily walk with calmer friends that don’t show her too much attention. However, she is a different dog around other Lurchers and really comes out of her shell.
Sonia would benefit from living with a well-socialised, confident sighthound she can gain confidence from, although this isn’t essential. She cannot live with any cats or small pets.
Family and environment
What kind of family am I looking for?
Sonia is a sensitive soul and is looking to live with slightly older children aged 11 years+ who will be calm and gentle around her.
What type of environment would suit me?
Sonia would benefit from a safe space so she needs a private, secure garden. She also enjoys a brief zoomie every now and again.
About Sonia
Sonia is a sweet, gentle girl. She can be shy initially but once you are her friend, she will love you with her whole heart.
She is a spring chicken and does get excited for daily activities.
Sonia is worried by sudden noises and movement but we are working on gradually building up her confidence. She can be shy and timid around other dogs but when she sees another long-legged friend, she is a different girl. She is confident, playful and full of beans; it’s infectious! Therefore, she could potentially be a great companion for another sighthound.
