Pet advice from Woodgreen
From behavioural issues to dietary needs, we’ve got you covered.
Sonny has been left for up to 3 hours on a regular basis, so is likely to be able to do the same after a settling in period. He has never lived without another dog, so this will need to be built up gradually to ensure he feels comfortable alone.
Sonny has a couple of medical conditions, namely a lump on his chest ( lipoma) and a previous issue with his toe, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome them and you are a successful match.
We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home.
Sonny could potentially have some calm walking friends. However, he is just as happy being with his people.
Sonny is looking for a new home with children over 8 years old, he is an older boy who can get a little unsure with certain handling.
Sonny needs a garden in his new home as he does love being outside and loves to play with his humans out there ( with his toys )
Sonny is a fun-loving, talkative, affectionate older boy who still has plenty of energy and zest for life. His favourite place to be is curled up on the sofa beside his people, happily resting his head on your lap for a cuddle.
He’s playful, full of character, and completely ball mad! Sonny loves running off lead and enjoys every opportunity to stretch his legs, always returning happily when called. He would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loving dog with both a playful side and a gentle, loyal nature.
This dog has been reserved, but you can still apply to adopt. Submit a general application and you could be matched with other dogs looking for a home.
