Pet advice from Woodgreen
From behavioural issues to dietary needs and everything in between, we’ve got yo...
We rely on the kindness of our supporters to keep us going. Every penny makes a huge difference, helping us to support more pets and their people.
There are lots of ways you can support us – from donations and pet sponsorship to taking on a challenge or leaving a gift in your Will. If you need help with updating your details, changing your direct debit, or anything else, find our FAQs below for answers.
We’re so sorry you’re experiencing problems with our online donation system.
To instead donate by telephone, use our donation hotline 0300 303 9876 and select option 2. Lines are open 7 days a week from 8am to 10pm.
Alternatively, to donate by post, email Supporter.Relations@woodgreen.org.uk with your name and address and we’ll send you a donation form in the post.
Woodgreen receives no government funding for the vital work we do.
We not only take in homeless dogs, but cats and small animals too.
With dogs in particular, we are seeing more and more coming into our care with complex needs. This means dogs requiring operations for serious conditions, or specialist support for behavioural problems, often resulting in a longer stay with us before we can rehome them with new owners.
As well as being there for pets who need us today, we want to be there for those that need us tomorrow.
Everything we do at Woodgreen has been made more acute by the pandemic; we need continued support to keep on running our vital services. That includes emergency intakes, which is likely to rise due to the boom in puppy purchases during the recent lockdowns.
Gift aid is a simple way of increasing the value of your gift to Woodgreen from the Government, without you having to increase your donation. We can do this automatically by ticking a box in our online donation system.
If you are donating through any other method, please email Supporter.Relations@woodgreen.org.uk with your name and address and we’ll send you a Gift Aid declaration form.
Upon donating items to our charity shops, you can fill in a form to allow us to claim Gift Aid on your donation.
Find out more about Gift Aid through the Government website.
