Support and Health

Do I have any medical conditions?

Existing conditions

Marshall has historic/reoccurring/current medical concerns, namely a heart murmur, obesity and cystitis that he is on a special diet for, that will require consideration before he is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome this pet and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical concern, be that historic or ongoing, is discussed with your own vet prior to any book out appointment.

Due to the nature of the medical concern, a vet call with one of our onsite vets will be required before Marshall goes home.

Who I can live with

Can I live with dogs?

No

Can I live with cats?

No

Can I live with small pets?

Yes

Additional information

It is recommended that any small animals are securely caged and it would be worth monitoring his behaviour around them to ensure its a good fit. He can’t live with cats or dogs as we feel this would be too stressful for him.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Marshall would be able to live with adults and children 7 and over – best for children to be calm and able to give him space when he needs it. He’s a lovely boy who enjoys fuss and company but we want to ensure we reduce his stress levels as much as possible due to his medical history.

What type of environment would suit me?

Needs a water fountain as he won’t drink from a bowl. Can’t have woodchip pellets as he will eat them. Gradual introductions to the outdoors in a moderate traffic area – maybe residential.

About Marshall

Marshall came to us from a loving home that unfortunately were not able to provide him with the care that they felt he needed. Since arriving he has been a very chilled out gentleman who is always happy to have company and fuss. He is however, a rather distinguished gentleman who has asked for a water fountain as he dislikes drinking water from a bowl. He enjoys to play and absolutely loves catnip! However, not quite as much as having a snooze with his favourite humans. He is a very brave and chilled out boy. Due to his medical history we are looking for the perfect stress-free home for him where he can relax and lounge about!

Things to note

Large sturdy carrier needed as he is a heavy lad.
