Pet advice from Woodgreen
From behavioural issues to dietary needs, we’ve got you covered.
Tarmac has historic medical concerns, namely ringworm (treated), ear mites (treated), cat flu, hind limb abnormality (resolved as he grew-likely due to poor muscle on arrival), that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome this pet and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical concern, be that historic or ongoing, is discussed with your own vet prior to any book out appointment.
Small pets will need to be securely housed away from Tarmac. Due to Tarmac having previously had mild cat flu signs, existing cats will need to be vaccinated. He should be ok to live with other animals with careful introductions. He has a lot of energy, so existing pets will need to be able to manage with this
Tarmac is looking for a family with children 7yrs+ as he can be quite nippy and grabby when playing.
Tarmac will need inside and outside access with gradual introductions to outside once old enough and settled into his new home. Where possible these introductions should be through a garden and not directly onto a road
Tarmac is a sweet little kitten with a big story. He was found when he was very young, all alone on a road, and thankfully was rescued and given the care and love he needed.
His name, Tarmac, is a little reminder of how far he has come — from being found by the roadside to now looking for a safe, loving home of his own.
Tarmac is a lovely young boy who deserves the chance to grow up feeling safe, loved and wanted. After such a difficult start in life, we’re looking for a special home where he can continue to thrive and be treated as part of the family.
If you think you could offer Tarmac the loving forever home he deserves, please get in touch.
Tarmac is ready to leave his road behind and start the next chapter of his life.
Tarmac can be quite nippy and grabby during play and so we are using string toys and kickeroos to discourage/redirect this behaviour.
This cat has been reserved, but you can still apply to adopt. Submit a general application and you could be matched with other cats looking for a home.
