Coco and Hazel are a sweet duo looking for their forever family.
Coco is the more confident of the two and will settle into her new surroundings fairly easy. She is a big foodie and this is definitely the way to win her over. Hazel on the other hand, is more reserved and nervous. However, she does tend to follow Coco’s lead… if you can win over Coco’s heart, Hazel won’t be too far behind. Hazel LOVES a soil tray and will spend all her time digging away, this is when you will see her cheeky personality shine through.
Coco and Hazel can be nervous girls in new surroundings so would benefit from a family who can be quiet and patient with them and help build their trust. Coco and Hazel would be best suited to an outdoor home due to how active they like to keep themselves with digging, shredding paper and playing with their enrichment.
Accommodation requirements
Rabbits are most active at dawn and dusk, and in the wild they have plenty of space to move freely at any hour. Pet rabbits need room to hop at speed, stretch to their full height and length, and dig, forage and graze whenever they like.
A pair of small to medium-sized rabbits need 24-hour access to a floor space of at least 3m x 2m, with a height of at least 1m. This is roughly the size of two king-size mattresses placed together, and about as tall as a door handle.

Rabbits are wonderful companions, but they’re often misunderstood as low-maintenance pets. The truth is, they’re not!
Here are a few things to think about before you apply:
- Rabbits live for around 8-12 years, so adopting them is a long-term commitment.
- They need significant space – a minimum of 3m x 2m with a height of 1m, 24 hours a day.
- They need to live with at least one other rabbit.
- A pair costs around £80 a month to care for.
- They need regular vaccinations and are prone to certain health conditions that can be costly to treat.

Our adoption fees are:
- Single rabbit (to be mixed with your existing rabbit/s) — £45
- Pair of rabbits — £67
- Trio of rabbits — £89
If you use our onsite mixing service, we ask for a donation of your choice on top of the adoption fee, if the mix is successful.

Once you’ve submitted your application, we aim to get back to you within two working days. This may be a little longer during busy periods.
From there, timelines can vary depending on your setup approval. If you’re using our onsite mixing service, the number of bonding sessions to find the right match will also be a factor.
