Additional information

We feel that Mango would find it too stressful to live with a dog or cat, so would prefer to be the only pet in the home.
Mango has also proved to be and avid hunter so rehoming to a house without small pets would be advised.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

We recommend that Mango be rehomed to an adult only home due to her overstimulated behaviours and not enjoying interactions that aren’t on her terms. She is looking for an understanding family that will help her to settle in and work with her on her boundaries and ensuring she feels calm and safe.

What type of environment would suit me?

Mango is definitely going to need unrestricted access in her new home so she can come and go as she pleases. She is an active cat who loves to hunt and explore so is looking for a lovely garden/area to be able to express these natural behaviours. Her favourite time to explore is during the night!

About Mango

Meet Mango!

Mango is a people-loving sweetheart who enjoys being around her humans. She’ll weave between your legs, rub against you for attention, and make sure you always know you’re loved. She’s playful, curious, and brings a lovely energy into the home—whether she’s chasing toys or just following you from room to room.

But like her name suggests, Mango has a bit of zest! While she enjoys fuss and interaction, she can sometimes get overstimulated and may suddenly decide she’s had enough. She’ll thrive with someone who understands cat body language and respects her boundaries. Mango would be happiest in a calm, cat-savvy home where she can enjoy affection on her terms and have space to relax when she needs it. In return, you’ll get a fun, affectionate companion who keeps life interesting and full of personality.
We are currently unsure as to what her triggers may be but we will work closely with her onsite to set her up so success in her new home.

Interested in applying?

While we change over our systems (22-27 April), you cannot apply for a specific pet. Instead, our team will try to match you against the pets we have available when we are back online.
