My dog has a life-threatening emergency – what do I do?

The best option is to call or visit a local vet first.

Once they’ve seen your dog, let us know if we can give you any more advice or support. You can call us on 0300 303 9333.

If you’re worried about the cost of the vet visit, call us as soon as you can. We may be able to contribute to the cost depending on your postcode.

If you can’t get hold of a vet, here’s how you can get in touch with us.

For other emergencies, have a look at our FAQ called ‘What do I do if I have an animal emergency?’
