How much training will I need?

Can I be left alone?

Once Bella has settled in her new home, she has the potential to be able to be left home alone for a few hours. Any home alone would need gradually building up.

Do I have any medical conditions?

Bella has both historic and current medical conditions, namely resolved otitis externa, resolved anal sac impaction, current lipoma, ongoing dental issues, a mammary mass and patella luxation, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome them and you are a successful match.  

We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home. 

Due to the nature of the medical condition, a vet call with one of our onsite vets will be required before the pet goes home

Can I live with dogs?

Can I live with cats?

Can I live with small pets?

Additional information

Bella is happiest around dogs of a similar size and has enjoyed playing/walking with them.

She tends to avoid larger dogs and may bark or tell them off if they get too close or are too boisterous.

Bella would love some one-to-one walks with her human, where she can enjoy exploring without the company of other dogs.

What kind of family am I looking for?

Bella would be best suited to living with children aged 8 plus.

Any children around Bella would need to be mindful of her comfort due to Bella approaching her golden years.

Bella would love a companion to be around, whether that is sitting with them on the sofa or going on some sniffari strolls.

What type of environment would suit me?

Bella would like a garden in her new home, but this isn’t essential for her rehoming. She could be suitable to live in a flat, but this would need to be ground floor as she would struggle with the stairs.

Bella would need regular toilet opportunities outside if she did not have her own garden.
