Pet advice from Woodgreen
From behavioural issues to dietary needs, we’ve got you covered.
Hera was sometimes left for long periods. She would sleep but could also chew items when she got bored. As she is an active, young dog, she could potentially be left for a few hours after a settling-in period and slowly building up to this.
This pet has current medical concerns, namely skin and ear issues, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome this pet and you are a successful match. We would also advise
that any medical concern, be that historic or ongoing, is discussed with your own vet prior to any book out appointment. Due to the nature of the medical concern, a vet call with one of our onsite vets will be required before the pet goes home.
Hera is very friendly with other dogs and loves to run around and play with them. She does get quite excited when she sees dogs on her walks and can sometimes get a bit frustrated or forget her manners. She would enjoy some doggie friends and could have visiting dogs to the home but is best as an only dog at the moment.
Hera cannot live with cats but could possibly live with securely housed small pets kept separately.
Hera can be worried by new people and some handling. She needs to live with children aged 11 years and above who can understand her sensitivities and give her space when needed.
Hera needs a private, secure garden with a minimum of 6ft fencing where she can stretch her legs and play.
Hera is a gorgeous girl with a beautiful, shiny black coat, complete with the sweetest little crinkled curls of hair on her toes and ears. But it’s her wonderfully expressive ears that really steal the show!
Hera is an energetic, bouncy lady and absolutely loves being around her friends. She can be a little shy when first meeting new people, so she needs gentle introductions and a little time to build her confidence. Once she knows you, her happy, playful personality shines through.
