How much training will I need?

Can I be left alone?

As Isabella came into our care as a stray, we don’t know whether she has ever lived in a home or been left alone.

She appears settled and comfortable in her kennel during the day, but any time home alone will need to be introduced gradually and slowly built up as she settles into her new home.

Do I have any medical conditions?

This pet has a clean bill of health and can be fully insured after rehoming. 

Can I live with dogs?

Additional information

Since being with us, Isabella has met and walked alongside a number of other dogs. She has been polite and calm when meeting them, although she can feel uncomfortable around overly excited dogs and would rather not interact with them.

Isabella is happy to have a quick hello before carrying on with her walk alongside her people. As Isabella came into our care as a stray, we don’t know whether she has ever lived with another dog. However, based on what we have seen so far, we feel she would benefit from being the only dog in her future home.

What kind of family am I looking for?

Isabella has shown herself to be a sweet, affectionate and calm girl who really enjoys the company of her familiar people.

As Isabella came into our care as a stray, we don’t know whether she has ever met or lived with children. From what we have seen of her sweet and gentle nature, we feel she could potentially live with children aged 8 years and over, provided they understand and respect her calm and slightly shy nature.

What type of environment would suit me?

It is essential that Isabella has access to a secure, private garden in her new home. As she is not suitable to be let off lead in public areas, having a safe and secure space where she can enjoy some off-lead zoomies and explore at her own pace will be very beneficial for her.
