Do I have any medical conditions?
Rocky has current medical concerns, namely possible ovarian remnant post spay, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome this pet and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical concern, be that historic or ongoing, is discussed with your own vet prior to any book out appointment.
Due to the nature of the medical concern, a vet call with one of our onsite vets will be required before the pet goes home.

Additional information
Rocky is quite a nervous and scared girl currently so would be happiest as the only pet in the home. She can live with small pets as long as they are securely housed.
Family and environment
What kind of family am I looking for?
Rocky is looking for a loving and patient family who will accept love on her terms and understand she may need her own space and time to settle. Due to this, and since she has a history of reactive behaviour such as hissing and swiping, children would need to be ages 13 and older currently.
What type of environment would suit me?
Rocky will need indoor and outdoor access in her new home – preferably in a quiet, low-traffic area or with a secure garden in which she can get used to the outdoors safely.

Meet Rocky
Rocky is a beautiful tabby girl who is looking for a calm, patient and loving home where she can build confidence at her own pace.
When Rocky first arrived, she was very frightened and nervous. If she feels scared or overwhelmed, she may hiss to let you know that she needs space. With plenty of patience, short but regular interactions and the occasional offering of her favourite biscuits, she has already begun to make lovely progress. She now comes to the front of her unit and is becoming curious enough to explore her surroundings.
Rocky still prefers contact to be on her own terms, so she needs an understanding adopter who will not rush her. A quiet home, a predictable routine and someone willing to celebrate every small step would help her feel safe and allow her true personality to emerge.
Earning Rocky’s trust may take time, but watching this sensitive girl grow in confidence will make the journey incredibly rewarding. She is searching for that special person who will give her the space, patience and love she needs to flourish.
Things to note
She is difficult to get into a carrier so a front loading carrier would be easiest and least stressful for her.
