Could you open your home to foster cats and kittens?
Fostering gives pregnant mums and their kittens the best possible start in life.
As a stray we do not know if Simba has ever been left home alone. We recommend that any home alone time is built up slowly after a settling in period.
Simba has two current medical conditions, namely Cryptorchidism (One Undescended Testicle) and he is under weight (Currently on a weight gain plan), this will require consideration before this pet is rehomed.
Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome him/her and you are a successful match.
We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home.
Simba would like to be the only pet in his new home.
He could have some walking buddies after an appropriate introduction. Simba has been playful with dogs, but he doesn’t always understand other dogs communication. His exuberant play style paired with his size has been a bit to much for some smaller dogs.
Simba was a stray so we have no history of behaviour around children. He could live with children aged 13+ who are confidant around dogs and won’t mind his bouncy nature, and can understand when he needs his own space.
Simba will need his own, secure, private garden as he’s a high energy boy and benefit from an secure space for him to play and zoom around.
Simba is our very own lion cub! Unfortunately, he arrived very underweight but that’s not dampened his spirits; he’s still full of exuberance.
Simba loves his food and walks and he’d love to explore what the world has to offer him!
Simba is typical of the Akita breed and would do best with owners with very good breed knowledge and experience.
Simba has been keen to learn lots of new skills and is a dab hand at agility!
